Description:  The 2007_orthophotos image service is a geodatabase raster derived from image data set containing the 2007 digital Ortho-imagery of Snohomish County, WA. Original image pixel size is 1.0 ft. GSD and consists of 1,133 tiles in TIF and TFW format. Image type is Natural Color. Image horizontal accuracy is within 4 ft. at the 95% confidence level (NMAS). Each file contains an image covering 6000 ft. by 6000 ft. on the ground. This data set was collected using MJ Harden's Digital Mapping Camera (DMC). The Digital Natural Color aerial imagery was acquired in June 2007 using a DMC sensor flown at a nominal height of 9500 feet AMT (Above Mean Terrain). ABGPS data was also collected. The Digital Aerial Triangulation (DAT) was performed, primarily, using softcopy workstations and Intergraph's ISPM software. Digital Elevation Models (DEM) (mass-points and break-lines) used to support ortho imagery production were created using standard photogrammetric collection techniques on Intergraph's soft copy workstations. The images were then ortho-rectified and using Intergraph's OrthoPro software. Color balancing was performed using both Intergraph's OrthoPro software and Orthovista. Seamless mosaicking was performed by automatic and manual seam line creation using Intergraph's IRASC software and then importing them into OrthoPro for mosaicking. Images were then color balanced again in order to match overall, and quality controlled using Intergraph's IRASC, OrthoPro and Adobe PhotoShop software. The seamless mosaic was clipped into tiles using OrthoPro software. The imagery product deliverables are GeoTIFF images with embedded header information describing the required projection, pixel size, tile size and other related data and corresponding world files (.tfw). All orthophotos meet NMAS accuracy standards of 4.0 feet at the 95% confidence level.
